Emerson Bearing Boston’s Furtado to Oversee Oil Field & Pump Division
BOSTON, MA…Emerson Bearing, the Boston based bearing company catering to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) markets around the globe, has appointed Richard Furtado to oversee the company’s Oil Field and Pump Division. The division caters to Oil, Natural Gas, Water Energy and Pump clients around the globe.
Furtado, a resident of Boston and Emerson Bearing’s Senior Sales Expert, has been with the company for more than three decades. Furtado graduated from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA with a degree in Business Management and over the years has received additional training and accreditation at Emerson Bearing Boston.
Furtado will assist clients in determining which bearing technologies would be most suitable by taking into consideration the specifications, recommendations, maintenance strategies, fatigue life and wear resistance of the bearing in relation to the application. Emerson Bearing Boston’s 24/7 service and inventory are critical to the operations of many clients in the Southwest, South America and Russia.
